By nature, I am someone who loves to make connections. I love getting to know someone. Especially if that is someone that I am hiring for something. I want to know who the person is behind the business that I’m about to invest my hard-earned money into, for whatever it may be. I have always found myself drawn towards businesses that aren’t afraid to let the world know that there is actually a face behind the business. When I was planning my own wedding, before even contacting a potential vendor, I would scourer their website, blog, and social media platforms to see who they were, what they were up to, what type of work they did. And I think that really stuck with me as I started my own business years ago. I always wanted to make sure that I was a business that someone could make that connection with.
Over the years, I have been blessed and my business and grown by leaps and bounds and I honestly think that a lot of that has to do with how I run my business and how I treat my clients. I LOVE to make my clients feel loved. With almost anything wedding related, there is an investment, and I don’t take that lightly. My clients are trusting me with a portion of their special day. Even though I am always juggling several different clients in different phases of their stationery process, I honestly do my best to make each client feel like they are my number one priority. I have learned that sometimes it’s the small things that go a long way, being prompt with responses, helping them work through potential problems, or answering 100 etiquette questions. For most this is the FIRST time they are going through the wedding planning process and are unsure of so many things, and as professionals they rely on US to help guide them and put their minds at ease.
And then sometimes it’s nice to surprise them along the way with a cute little welcome package when they’ve booked me for their wedding suite thanking THEM for choosing me. Or with an awesome thank you gift once we finally wrapped up all the invitations! I won’t give away too many details so it stays a surprise for future clients, but I just love each and everything that I put into my thank you boxes!
At the end of the day, I want my clients and future clients to know who I am as a person and what I believe in, because I honestly believe that makes all the difference in the world.
Enjoy!
