I really do love how technology works for us sometimes. Katherine and I never met in person since she lives up in South Carolina, but I was still able to make sure her experience and invitations turned out just as perfect! Katherine and Matthew were married at the White Oaks Barn up in Dahlonega, Georgia. Katherine and I had a phone consult to go over all of her details and her mood board and come up with perfect colors and design to complement her and Matthew’s big day!
I am usually known for my soft and airy designs, but I LOVE when I get to break out of my box some and play with bolder, beautiful colors. Katherine was incorporating various shades of navy and blues as well as plums and burgundy. I knew right away I wanted to pull some of these colors into her papers so we kept the invitation light and classic with an ecru linen invitation backed with a light gold cardstock, but then for the additional card we went with a bold navy cardstock with white printing. The icing on the cake was her beautiful wine colored envelopes with white address printing. You can’t tell me if you got that beauty in the mail, it wouldn’t light up your day!? These envelopes are definitely one of my new favorites!
Laura Foote did an absolutely amazing job capturing their details and precious moments for their big day. It still amazes me every time when I see a wedding truly coordinate from start to finish. The stationery is truly such and impact in setting the tone for your guests on what to expect for the big day.
